#BJF25 is a non profit, Community Arts event supported by The Arts Council of Ireland, Cork County Council, Crespo Foundation, Cully & Sully, Local Businesses & a team of West Cork Volunteers.

Opening the night are Boolaboom, a super-sized brass and samba percussion big-band playing house and techno. A budding collaboration between a multicultural blend of international jazz musicians and samba drummers, the group launched in 2023 to make ‘unplugged house music’ heavily sprinkled with soul, jazz and South American flare.

Live Music continues with Blue Mocking Birds from Belgium, who resurrect century-old tunes in tasty and fresh arrangements, as well as composing original songs with the unique and unrestrained sound of the early jazz era.

On the floor will be the incredible Ballydehob Jazz Festival Guest Dancers, & Lindy Hop Teachers.
