All Dance Classes Take Place in The Festival Hall ( side room) P81 FC89
SATURDAY 04 MAY
11.00am (1 Hour) Side Hall – SOLO Dancing – All Welcome – Entrance will be to those who first arrive until we reach capacity. Entry is Donation Of Your Choice.
1pm Side Hall (2 Hour) Side Hall – PARTNER Dancing – Pre Book – Tickets On ballydehobjazzfestival.org – limited capacity

🌴 Celeste Amapola is a dancer, organizer, DJ and a lindy hop teacher from Argentina, she has been in the South American dance scene for 11 years and since 2023 she is part Sa cotxeria, club social de swing in Mallorca, Spain. Passionate about culture, dance and music, loves to dig and find new old tunes to dance till the end of the night.
💃🏻Melanie Casabone
Melanie, from Argentina, now based in Dublin for the past two years, she’s become a driving force in the local Lindy hop and solo jazz community. Teaching, performing, and organizing events, Melanie is known for her energy and dynamic presence. As a guest in this AfroAmerican culture, Melanie is continuously learning about Lindy hop and Solo Jazz, passionately immersing herself in its roots while contributing her own unique flair to the dance floor.
🕺🏾 Gabriel is a Dublin-based swing dancer and teacher. He discovered his love for the dance when he moved from Spain to Dublin 8 years ago. Gabriel dances Lindy Hop, Collegiate Shag, St. Louis Shag, Blues and Solo Jazz, and has been teaching locally for 7 years. His teaching style is inclusive and fun; Gabriel likes to bring out people’s individuality while staying true to the dance form.
